Every week, we fill backpacks with food, clothing, water, literature, and other necessities and hike out to the streets and camps in Sacramento. When we are blessed with the opportunity to talk with the individuals we meet, we offer the items backpacked in along with prayer and fellowship. As relationships deepen and trust builds, M.A.N.N.A. volunteers can also offer pathways for individuals seeking to find recovery from addiction.

Another blessing to M.A.N.N.A. has been working with volunteers that have been appointed for alternate sentencing through Superior Court.  The effect of change in their lives as they hand food to the homeless is priceless!
