"Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring

We men and women are bounded by love, borne by mercy and destined for eternity. We are awash in the gracious purposes of God. Such is the momentum and thrust of reality. We can plunge into its current and cooperate with its direction. Given the sheer might of the forces arrayed in our favor, this seems a small thing, and so it is. But it is a high privilege to 'keep ourselves in the love of God.'
