The disciples of Christ think that they are OK and Jesus should just get on and fix up the world. They think that the rule of God can simply be imposed on recalcitrants. But they have much more to learn about Jesus and about the one he calls father. God will not be satisfied with mere compliance. The heart of God is known only to these who love him, and only the service of love will do.
