I have noticed that the people I am drawn to most, are those who speak well of me; who foresee great things for me. I am much less attracted to persons who tell me the truth about myself. I would be fooling myself if I did not admit that I am in danger of hating such people. Any one is a fool who will not keep one ear open to his critics.
