"For Christ's love compels us . . ." (2 Corinthians 5:14).

Everyone has a world view. Everyone orders their life in the basis of one or two central assumptions. Even those who claim not to have a world view at all, thereby disclose their world view--chance and meaninglessness. In a winner-take-all contest for the survival of the fittest, altruism and compassion are out of place. If the final truth in the universe is the love seen in Christ, a public conscience with sacrificial endeavor is the only game in town.
