The life of faith knows no such thing as smooth sailing. Trouble, worry and stress are like a deep sea ready to engulf the traveler at any time. But Jesus is nearby. Everything frightening, everything ferocious and dangerous is beneath his feet. He rules the raging of the sea; he bestrides the enemies of his people.
