Before Christ came death was an impenetrable barrier lying across human history. Grief was inconsolable; goodbyes were forever. Jesus' resurrection changed that. Now, the wall has been pierced; death has been defeated. The grave is not our final address. Life can be lived without fear. Hope has replaced despair.
